I make similar healthy snacks with variating ingredients every now and then to take with me if I know that I might be stuck doing physical work like gardening or building or hiking for a whole day. Quite often the time flies and I do skip meals and remember food when I´m already super hungry.
Those energy balls with some of the worst weeds one can have in the garden are easy to make and even though they look more like sheep poop they actually taste quite nice.
1 tbsp Ecospruce weed powder(couchgrass, nettle, field horsetale,meadowsweet, goutweed)
2 tbsp flax seeds
200 g hemp flour
100 g raisins
100 g dates
pinch of salt
How to make?
1. Soak raisins and dates for 6-12 hours.
2. Strain the water and use it to sweeten a dtink later for example.
3. Blend raisins, dates, hemp flour, weed powder and salt.
4. Mix in whole flaxseeds.
5.Make little energy balls and roll them in cocoa if you wish.
6. Let the enery balls stay in the fridge for 30 minutes.
